Fall finds the studio bustling with
activity. With a successful Father-Daughter
Night show at the Elks behind us, the
Salinas Valley Civic Ballet and Spirit of
Salinas Irish Dancers are in rehearsal for
holiday and spring events. The Salinas
Valley Civic Ballet will make history by
being the first company to perform as "Guest
Artists" at the local Nutcracker
Ballet on Thanksgiving weekend.
They will perform the largest corps number
in the show, the Waltz of the
Flowers. The
Dancin' the 1940s show
premiered at the Elks Lodge event in early
October and is still in rehearsal for a full
length show scheduled for April or May 2011.
